Emmanuelle Walker was born in Switzerland and grew up in Quebec, Canada where she studied traditional animation and began her career working across TV series, documentaries, short films and music videos.
She moved to Paris to attend the world-renowned animation school Gobelins in 2007, being granted direct admission to the final year. Her co-directed graduation film “After The Rain” was screened in many animation festivals around the world, winning approval from the public and critics alike.
Emmanuelle recently moved to London after spending four years in France where she collaborated with a handful of international clients. She has received praise for her ability to create charming illustrations out of basic cut-outs and shapes. Emmanuelle is also known for the oddly elongated girls that populate her illustrated universe.
