Sherbet have completed four new films for Dare Digital. The agency commissioned Sherbet on the back of the highly acclaimed film Snow Angel that they created together earlier this year, as part of the Sony Viao online advertising campaign.

The four films involve the use of live action which was then rotoscoped, treated and converted into small Flash based, to show off the various qualities of the new Sony Reader.

Taking famous literary characters and genres such as Alice in Wonderland and a Victorian family at a fun fair, director Paul McKeown shot reference live action, which was edited and adapted into fine illustrative styles.

Created in five weeks by a design, animation and technical team, the look of the films ranged from black and white engravings for Alice in Wonderland to air brushed Sci-Fi treatment for the arrival of an Alien. Sherbet producers were Jayne Bevitt and Jonathan Bairstow.
