Sherbet director Laurie J Proud has just completed work on his latest film 'Snow Angel' commissioned by London based digital agency Dare as part of their latest online campaign for Sony VAIO.

Dare's Online Script Project saw John Malkovich write the first scene of a movie and invite the public to decide the story’s fate by writing the next scenes. Malkovich personally selected the winning scenes over the course of the campaign until a final script was created and published on www.vaio-john.com.

As a beautiful conclusion to the campaign Laurie was invited by Dare to interpret the story in animation, including designing the cast of oddball characters and the backgrounds.

Created at Sherbet's studio by a team of animators and fx artists, the film is full of bizarre and unexpected twists. Accompanying the picture is an appropriately eerie soundtrack created by Barney Quinton at London based company You Are Hear.

The film is due to be broadcast online in 5 different languages. Art Directors were Matt Firth and Vicky Ghose, Agency Producer was Harriet Scopes and Sherbet producer was Rachel Matchett.
