SHERBET has just finished production of the Channel 4 AIR Scheme short 'Forget Me Not', by Italian director Kim Noce. Inspired by the stories of Kim's great aunt, the film follows an elderly lady as she recalls childhood memories of her three imaginary pets.

Using cut out animation, embroidery and mixed media the film creates a compelling and detailed vision of the past. Animators were drafted in to construct the little girl from multiple photographs.

Additional imagery was provided courtesy of the National Museum of Photography Film & Television's archive collection, with photography dating back to the Second World War. Producer was Jayne Bevitt.
