To generate understanding and encourage recruitment, Sherbet director Jonathan Hodgson has directed two commercials for the Home Office in support of Police Community Service Officers. M&C Saatchi asked Jonathan to create the painterly styled ads showing the positive effect PCSO's can have on local communities.

Referenced from live action shot by DOP Luke Palmer, the ads were then hand rendered on paper and later hand painted in the style of the press campaign illustrator Jamel Akib. In the films we see the differing ways in which PCSO's enrich and secure communities with their presence and support. Producer was Rachel Matchett.
