Sherbet and Waytion Team up for Music Video.
Sherbet welcomes Waytion to the UK after creating their first exciting production together. This latest is a promo for the band Cahill ft Nikki Belle which was organised and shot in the UK with additional animation and post split between Stockholm and London.
Inspired by the Swedish collaborative's concept the record labels 3 Beat Blue and All Around The World who are promoting the track 'Trippin On You', chose Waytion out of a long list of competitors to direct the video.
The one day shoot ran smoothly even though the team had a tough job fitting in the choreographed scenes which were expertly organised by Waytion's director team for the project, Martin Huss and Martin Burstrom. It was then up to DoP Ben Moulden to capture the exact scenes which would later be composited together to seem like one flawless take.
The film follows Nikki around her apartment after a night of partying. Seamlessly transitioning from day and night the promo has an energetic and humorous feel that was aided by the brilliant styling of Johnny Blue Eyes.
Commissioned by Hermione Ross of Black and Blonde, the promo was produced by Jayne Bevitt and Rebecca Rice of Sherbet, production assistant was Sarah Essam and Post Producer Erik Gullstrand for Waytion.
