Sherbet director Matt Abbiss has created a new eco information film for BSkyB. Hosted by the Hollywood actor Steve Carell, the playful thirty second spot politely plugs Carell's latest film 'Evan Almighty' while also introducing viewers to Sky's new interactive website, Skycast.com.

BskyB commissioned the spot on the strength of Matt's unique style of drawing and comic timing. Matt created the animation to compliment Carell's spontaneous piece to camera where he gives the Great British public a variety of tips on staying green, including the (not so!) terrifying issue of 'cycle kill' and the (very important!) issue of recycling all used paper.

The piece was created, edited and comped at Sherbet in London, and will broadcast from late July. Rachel Matchett was producer.
